Dunwoody Gridiron Club Mission Statement


The Dunwoody Gridiron Club’s goal is to support and enhance the football program at Dunwoody High School through volunteer assistance and fundraising programs, while at the same time promoting the highest standards of spirit and sportsmanship.

Our purpose is to promote pride, respect, spirit, and unity among the Dunwoody players, as well as the student body, staff, coaches, families, and the local businesses in our community. To do that, the Gridiron Club relies not only on the financial donations of its members, but on the energy, imagination, and effort of the bigger Dunwoody football family—the Dunwoody community and area businesses.

By working together at every level, we can strengthen both the current and future football programs at Dunwoody High School. And, together, we can make DHS football one of the best experiences our children.


How the Gridiron Club Supports Dunwoody Football


The funds raised by the club support many day-day initiatives vital to the success/operation of the Dunwoody High School Football program.  Unfortunately, due to funding protocols for school districts, it is very difficult for the DCSD to set allocate adequate funds for the wide-ranging needs of this program. We support the program in a numerous ways including financial support for equipment purchases, facility maintenance and upgrades, transportation, away meals, game day needs, and the year-end football banquet, as well as other needs of the program.

Below is a breakdown of the Gridiron Club’s expenditures in support of Dunwoody Football:
